NATO Resource Conference
In close cooperation between the NATO HQ International Staff, Allied Command Transformation and the National Representatives from Canada, the NATO Resource Conference 2023 will be held on 23-25 May 2023 in Ottawa, Canada.
The theme of the conference is "Turning Ambition into Action: Delivering Common Funded Capabilities Better Faster, Smarter".
This event will provide a unique opportunity for key national decision makers across all resource areas, to obtain valuable insight in work that is planned for and ongoing within the NATO Resource Communities. It will also provide an excellent opportunity for an exchange of views, clarification of positions and identification of challenges and risk that may lay ahead.
These exchanges will enable all participants to increase their awareness, obtain better understanding and to express their views, ideas and options to allow for those to be taken into consideration during future deliberations on these, whether at national level, within NATO HQ or at Command level.
The NATO Resource Conference will include a mixture of external and internal speakers, with different formats of discussion that will engage the audience in productive exchange of ideas and insights. The event is intended to expand knowledge throughout NATO by drawing upon national experiences and private sector know-how.
The NATO Resource Conference is a recurring event that aims at gathering decision makers from the NATO Nations capitals and their representatives in Brussels to enhance understanding and directions on how to maximize the use of resources in order to satisfy requirements from the Military Commanders in countering threats (both present and future) and seek ways in obtaining the necessary capabilities.
